Hudson is a town situated approximately 40 miles West of Boston. The revitalization of this once quiet industrial town has turned it into a foodie and hot spot destination. In 2021, Hudson was voted, in a nationwide competition, “Best Main Street in America”. Eclectic restaurant options, include the Rail Trail Flatbread Co. and the Microcreamery. Other choices include Pizza parlors, Mexican food, a martini bar, bagels, seafood, pubs, - even a 1950s style diner.
The Park Commission and Division of Recreation offer youth sports programs, school vacation fun, summer concerts, and swimming at Centennial Beach. There are 4 pickle ball courts and tennis courts at the Riverside Tennis Facility. Hiking trails are abundant at the Danforth Conservation area, the Assabet River Nature Trail (has a launch for canoes and kayaks too), Lamson Park (and fishing), and the Marlborough/Sudbury State Forest.
